On the airwaves, personality becomes the gold standard. In a medium where delivery can be almost as important as content, knowing pertinent information and asking thoughtful questions is immediately enhanced by charisma and the ability to connect with an audience.

I've done radio reports that have put me first on the scene in a small town fire, and others that have sent me to the top of an historic Boston bell tower. In any radio coverage situation, I've found it has been my own interest in the details which has attracted listeners, added accessibility to various subjects,  and gleaned positive audience feedback.

The Food and Drug Administration has announced that it was a tainted substance in wheat gluten from China that made its way into pet food in America killing maybe hundreds of pets.

Unimaginable that pet owners have to deal with the fact that they fed their beloved pets the very food that killed them.
